Welcome to Bellabauch!

We are located in the baby boom heart of Germany, Dresden Hecht. Our midwifery practice is led by a team of five midwives, offering quality care and courses for the pre-and postnatal period.

Once you contact us, we will schedule an appointment to become acquainted and develop a plan of holistic care for you and your baby. We offer prenatal treatments (Vorsorge), in conjunction with your gynaecologist appointments. We also offer prenatal courses to help prepare for the birth and postpartum period (Geburtsvorbereitungskurs). Additionally, we offer holistic treatments such as acupuncture and kinesiology taping to help ease any discomfort you may experience.

As soon as you and your baby are home after a birth, your midwife will come to your home to assist in the overall recovery process (Nachsorge), you and your baby’s health, and breastfeeding. After approximately 8 -16 weeks after a birth, we advise mothers to participate in a course focusing on postnatal exercises to help strengthen your body (Rückbildungskurs).

If you find that after months of breastfeeding you still have some questions or difficulties, you may schedule a lactation consultation (Stillberatung Sprechstunde). When your baby is ready to begin solid food, you may schedule a consultation as well (Beikost Sprechstunde).

For you and your baby’s enjoyment, we would like to welcome you to participate in one of our baby courses such as, baby massage (Babymassage), Pilates for pregnancy (Pilates für Schwangere), mama Pilates (Mama Pilates), yoga during pregnancy (Yoga für Schwangere), singing group (Sang – und Klangfreude), and/or a first aide course (1. Hilfe Kurs).
